TidewaterCrossSection.com (TCS) is an online magazine which offers a cross section of Christian writers from the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area. We are dedicated to helping the average Christian become a more discerning and mature member of the body of Christ by providing news, information and inspirational articles that is significant to us and relevant in our world today!
TCS understands the strict limitations placed on non-profit ministries today by the United States Internal Revenue Code. TCS is a for profit ministry and is set up as a Limited Liablility Company. TCS is soley owned and operated by The Lucas Group, LLC ©2008. TCS supports its ministry by providing ad space, classifieds, an online store and a church/ministry directory.
It is our sincere hope that we may help to spread the gospel, mature believers and edify the body of Christ by providing an opportunity to share those messages by those who are led to be leaders without the entanglements of governmental interference. We currently have space available for those who are experienced writers and are interested in becoming a contributor for our online magazine. This is a freelance opportunity and if you are a part of a non-profit organization, it will not affect your organizations IRS standing in any way!

Posted September 4, 2007 - And all of YOU for joining us here at Tidewater Cross Section! We have now gone beyond our goal of 5,000 hits and hundreds of new visitor’s each month! THANK YOU!
TCS first went online in March 2006 and we have undergone many changes in the past year and a half in our effort to inform and inspire you. We began as a grass roots effort here in Hampton Roads to give mature, bible believing Christians with the gift of writing a place to share what God has put on their hearts, as well as give our local Christian community a voice! Sometimes the only Christian view we get is on Sunday morning and it is always beneficial to have variety in life. We are all Christians of One Body regardless of Church or denominational affiliation! Although we all may differ in our gifts, talents, theology, philosophy, opinions and ideas we are all moving in the same direction....toward the cross! It is Jesus we worship and each other we need to hold up in love and sustain as we continue our walk together through enemy territory.
We did not go online to make money although that would be nice; in fact we have made all of .13 cents to date. We just simply wanted to speak the truth in as much love as our humanity is able to express, with the help of Jesus of course. To unite our Christian community here in Hampton Roads beyond the four walls of our church home. We even have visitors and contributors from all over the US. We have no church or denominational affiliations to dictate our direction...only God and you!
It is our firm and resolved desire to continue to bring you informative, meaningful, and relevant news and information that will help us all remain in Him, while giving us hope that we are not alone but share one purpose. We are a community in Him and our future has no bounds. This site is about YOU! And in the future, we hope to include more of YOU in everything we do...
